,,Beautiful things don't ask for attention''
It's been five years since this beautiful movie was released and since I saw it for the first time in cinema. And I remember I didn't get the storyline nor the point at that time since it was in english and I was thirteen. But since 2013 I've seen this movie about milion times. I would love to know why this movie caught my heart so much but I don't think there is any reasonable explanation that would tell me why I fell in love so much, ugh. Sometimes I think it's those things that we love so much that we don't know why anymore, we just know they are etched in our heart. And if there was an explanation it would mean we only like it with our mind. Also this is exactly the most favorite movie you need so that you don't always say: Lord of The Rings, Avatar or Brother Bear (which ofc are my fav movies). Briefly, I would love to tell you about this masterpiece so that I spread the knowledge about it and make more people watch it 'cause I really believe deep in my soul that Secret Life Of Walter Mitty deserves to be seen and acknowledged by more people. 'Cause this movie has definitely changed my aproach to life.

Okay so, Walter Mitty is a man having troubles daydreaming. I am a great dreamer (who is not, right) and I feel like anyone who's in the state of not really living their best life could relate to what Walter's going through. Walter lives in NY and works for a magazine called LIFE. Here is LIFE's motto:
To see the world, things dangerous to come to
to see behind walls, to draw closer
to find each other and to feel
that is the purpose of life
This motto speaks about what the magazine's purpose is. It is a photo magazine talking about travelling and people and what the world is really like, in which Walter takes care of raw pictures. He literally works as a negative asset manager (?what). So he's the one who receives the picture from the photographer himself. So the plot starts as LIFE is supposed to be recreated as an online magazine and the real paper magazine is about to vanish. Walter Mitty is the one who processes the picture for a last cover of LIFE ever. But the picture gets lost and that's how the journey of Walter Mitty, during which he discovers more than just the photo, begins.

I'm not going to tell what the last picture is but i guarantee that it's worth finishing. And I can tell you that there is hardly any movie that will make you want to travel more than this one since Walter needs to visit many places so that he finds the photographer who took that one picture he's looking for. And I understand that my description might be a little confusing but trust me there is more to it than what I'm trying to explain. The whole movie is shot in this raw manner. I mean everything is just Walter and his dreams and Walter and nature. Even those parts going on in the city are full of that kind of breath of nature and even the action scenes are calming. The whole concept of the movie might look a little weird to you, it is definitely original and I don't say it's not weird a little but since when weird means bad, right? Also the soundtrack with a main song from David Bowie: Space Oddity is a masterpiece. It was directed by Ben Stiller, my favorite actor who also plays Walter Mitty.
I believe y'all take some time to watch it because it is an inspirational bomb. And if you care about nature, travelling and music as I do, this is a perfect movie for you.
